Woher Motor/where i get a engine

Hallo,

ich bin von Deutschland und bewundere wie ihr eure Pocketbikes selbst zusammenbaut. In Deutschland wird das sehr selten gemacht.

Nun zu meiner Frage:
Welcher Motor dienst zur Basis? Man liest hauptsächlich von Piaggio Motoren.
Ihr meint damit die Motoren vom Roller oder? Ich spreche jetzt von den wassergekühlten Motoren.

Schön und gut. Wenn ich jedoch nach solch einem Rollermotor suche finde ich nur welche mit Variomatik.

Ein Link zu solchen Motoren oder ein Beispiel wäre echt super!
Hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen.

First of all, the most of the home-made bikes use a Puch engine.
But you're right, there are also some home-made bikes that use a watercooled Piaggo engine (from scooters). As far as I know they totally remove the vario part by themself, and replace it with a normal centrifugal clutch. So if you want to use an engine from a scooter (Roller), you need to modify it first.
